Netflix is known for creating some very binge-worthy cinematic content. One of their recent sleeper hits has been a documentary about the competitive world of the Canadian cat show circuit.

“Catwalk: Tales from the Cat Show Circuit” is truly a mesmerizing look into a mostly below-the-radar competition field. Lots of people have heard of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and watched the National Dog Show after the Thanksgiving Day Parade. However, you don’t hear much buzz around the cat show competitions.

This documentary opens up that world and gives insight to just how exactly one can show a cat—from the grooming, judging criteria and actual showing of the cats. Catwalk even captures the intense rivalry between Oh La La—the fluffiest of orange Persian cats—and Bobby—a white Turkish Angora. The two are at the top of the cat show circuit and are competing for Canada’s Best Cat.

If you are cat lover and appreciate the world of dedicated cat people, then this is a great documentary to spend an evening watching. Even if you are not a cat person, this is still a fun look into a zany world you may not have even known existed.
