A. You can start with any high-quality dry puppy food (not generic or store brand).. Put some in the blender and pulverize it to a fine powder. Add water to make a loose gruel and put it in a pan for the puppies to eat. Feed about four times a day. The bitch will still nurse them in between, but be ready to start cleaning their box as she will not do it once they are on regular food. Gradually make the mixture thicker, until after a few weeks they are eating whole dry food. Have plenty of fresh water available.
