Q. How can I tell if cat is alive

A. You can check the following things:

- movement of the thorax (breathing)

- heart beat (right or better on the left side) feeling it with you hand on the chest just behind the elbow

- corneal reflex ( press gently on the surface of her eyeballs) if she closes her eyelid the reflex is positive (=alive).
