A. Unfortunately, Tylenol is not safe for dogs. Medications like Tylenol and Advil are not formulated for our pets and can actually harm them if given to them. I would recommend waiting until your vet is open and speaking to them about a dog specific pain medication. If you are concerned that your dog cannot wait, I would see if there is an emergency animal clinic in your area and see if they can see your dog and recommend a medication. Fortunately most dogs do well after a spay with lots of rest and relaxation. I hope your dog feels better soon!
