A. Unfortunately the best option is antibiotics to clear up the pyoderma. The word actually means "pus under skin" which signals infection. Clip the area infected and keep clean and dry. There are some essential oil remedies you can try but i do not feel comfortable explaining on such a short forum. Please feel free to ask for a consult, if done incorrectly you can cause an upset stomach. You also need to make sure you treat the underlying problem that led to the pyoderma. For example if fleas are to blame a topical flea treatment should be used.
