Q. Hi my name is Sara my dog Penny needs to get fixed. will she be ok if I am able to get her fixed, she is 1 1/2 yrs old

A. It is wonderful to see that you are a responsible dog owner. Although no surgery--on a dog or a human--is entirely without risk, most dogs do just fine with being spayed and Penny should, too.
