A. It sounds as if Shadow is in need of some serious training! In the jmeantime, he should not be let free to do damage while you are out. Any time a dog does something wrong and is not corrected for it, he has no way of knowing that it is wrong. If you are not going to be there to catch and correct him, he should be in a crate (short-term only, during training--he can't stay confined indefinitely) to prevent misbehavior.
