A. Salt ingestion can be deadly in a dog. I suppose soaking the body only would not hold any inherent dangers as long as he doesn't drink the water and you keep it out of his eyes (possibly a difficult proposition), but I would be very curious to know why you need to soak his entire body? Usually Epsom salts are used to keep focal infections/inflammation clean and reduce swelling. If there is a generalized problem that is prompting you to consider a whole body soak I would suggest that you need to see a vet for a more effective solution.
