Q. My cat kisses me none stop and hugs me when we sleep. Cute. But as cute and loving as she is to me she really dislikes anyone else since. Normal?

A. Cats have different personalities just like people and some may be more social than others. Sounds like you two have a great relationship but she is lacking in the people skills department. While this isn't exactly normal, its not that uncommon either. Cats that lack social skills may be scared, shy, or hide from other people, in the milder cases. In more extreme cases they may even act aggressively with new people. These types of cases are best handled by a behaviorist. They can be caused by an array of things like fear, being territorial etc. If you can find it online or on TV "My Cat From Hell" or " Psyhco Kitty" has a few episodes with quite aggressive and aloof cats with strangers. They offer some really great tips to work on these issues.
