A. Has your veterinarian performed an allergy test on the dog? The dog may have food allergies try switching to a duck or vegetarian dog food. If the dog isn't already on a Grain free diet try that as well. Make sure you're giving a high quality high protein dog food. You can talk to your dog's doctor about steroids to help with your dog's allergies but prolonged use of steroids is hard on an animal's liver. It can help give relieve in some cases and when the patient's blood work is monitored it can be safely controlled. Talk to your vet.
