Q. My guinea pig has a cloudy and goopy eye. There are no local vets to treat him. Any suggestions?

A. I would highly recommend going to the place you purchased the Guinea Pig from and ask for advice. Ask them to verify that there are no veterinarians that see exotics in the area and ask them what they think you should do for the issue. If you can bring in the G-Pig with you and ask for someone at the pet store who knows a lot about G-Pigs. If there is no one in the store who knows about them ask if there will be someone in who knows about them that you can ask questions to and to leave a message with them. If they are of no help try another pet store with the same questions.
