A. It sounds like "old dog syndrome". This condition is not fully understood but occurs mainly in older dogs. Some new theory from these past couple years indicates that these symptoms are caused by several "mini strokes" in the brain.
In most cases, these symptoms will fade away within 3 days in average, although it looks very dramatic there is a good chance that she is going to get better.
Treatment is usually supportive only (anti histamines, anti emetics).
Bare in mind these same symptoms are sometimes connected to other conditions such as severe internal ear infection or brain tumor.
