Q. Why won't my dachshund drink water

A. If she doesn't drink water at all, she must be feeling really sick and nauseated. This might be a case of a severe gastroenteritis or intestinal blockage.

If it carries on in the next 24 hours, bring her to the vet in order to diagnose the problem.
