Q. My 9 lb Yorker has a ruptured ligament in her knee . We are going to wait 3 months and then do possible surgery.... Is there anything you'd recommend

A. I recommend resting her as much as possible until then, very short walks, no jumping and no running. when you get the surgery done, get it done by a specialist.
