A. If your kitty has stopped chewing her food she likely has very painful inflammation of the gums and dental disease. This needs to be seen by a veterinarian and she likely will need a dental cleaning with removal of infected teeth. After that she will be happy and painless again and will be able to chew her food again. In the meantime feed her canned food, even make it into a gruel and make an appointment with your veterinarian.
