A. There is a possibility that your dog has a dental problem, an obstruction in his throat, or esophagus or another gastrointestinal problem. At just under three months old , it is also possible that she is not quite proficient in eating solid food. You may want to feed her small amounts of food at a time, possibly soft food. If your puppy vomits the food this may also point to a serious viral disease. If this does not stop within 24 hrs you need to take her to your vet.
