Q. My pet has lost a lot of weight, what should I do?

A. This is always a cause for concern, and should be checked out by a veterinarian as soon as possible. It's possible your pet could be getting too little food, but if you have been feeding him/her the same amount their whole life, it's likely that there is something more serious going on. Common causes include stomach or intestinal disorders and diabetes.
