Q. Waht are the necessities I should get for my ferret if I dont want to spend a lot of money on ffod all the time

A. Ferrets require a diet based on animal protein in order to meet their nutritional needs. Ferret food contains high levels of fresh, meat-based protein and fats. Do not feed dog or cat food to adult ferrets. A ferret cage should have 2 levels and a place to hang a hammock. The cage should also contain a dark enclosure where the ferrets can make a nest for sleeping. A water bottle and a litter box should be placed in the cage as well. Additional litterboxes can be used outside the cage in the play area. Annual health checks with a vet are recommended as are rabies and distemper vaccines.
