Q. How do I treat hot spot own 15 year old toy Poodle

A. Hot spot is treated with antibiotics and cleaning skin with local antiseptic solution. if it is very itchy sometimes we use anti-inflammatory medications. So, you can clip and clean the skin yourself but if there is skin infection and/or your dog is very itchy you should take him/her to your vets to get treatment.
