Q. Why has my dog stopped eating and is drinking a lot of water?

A. Excessive drinking may be a sign of several problems. I would suggest you to take your dog your vet for examination. Ideally, take a fresh urine sample with you for analysis. It may be something not serious like fever but excessive drinking may be due to hormonal problems, kidney or liver disease or even a tumor.
