Q. My dog has been in heat for about a week or two with fairly heavy bleeding. This hasn't happened with my other dogs. What do I do?

A. You should take her to your local vets to make sure she is ok. Sometimes uterine infection can look similar to season, just the bleeding is longer and heavier than expected.
