Q. I'm looking at different pet insurance plans. What does "annual deductible" mean?

A. Let's say if your annual deductible is $200 and your vet bill is $500 you pay the $200 and the insurance company will pay the remaining $300. You pay it only once a year, so you would not pay another $200 if you have to take your vet again in that year.
