Q. My cat has not defecated in 2 days. Can I give him something to make him go?

A. If it's been 2 days then you need to see your vet. There are some treatment that you can try at home such as lactulose or liquid paraffin from the pharmacy but they rarely work alone. After two days of not passing faeces it is definitely time to see your vet.
